Windows Not responding-Solution

How can you deal with the problem of "NOT-RESPONDING" in your PC??

How to Scan your windows machine without the help of any Antivirus.

Yes, now You can scan your whole system for errors without using any antivirus.
You can scan it using the Command Prompt itself.

Many times we encounter a problem of "Not Responding" or "Explorer.exe" is not responding, our machine just freezes up and no task runs on our computer.

so what can you do to test  in case their is a error in your Hard-drive or memory segment??

Just follow the steps which i'm going to tell here, this will help you people out in determining whether their is an error in your hard drive or memory segment that causes the freezing of your machine resulting in non responsive behaviour.

Method 1:

first of all you may go to your BIOS and check  in the "Advanced or Diagnostic tab" for the facility to run tests on your Hard Drive and Memory and after the completion check out and solve the errors that it reports.

NOTE: Not all BIOS offers the feature to run a Hard Drive and Memory test.

Method 2:

If your BIOS doesn't offers the feature to do the Method 1
OR
If your BIOS passes the Method 1 test then try this method.

Open your command prompt with administrator privileges, to do that follow these steps:

i. Click on start menu.
ii.  Find "Command prompt" ,then right click on that and choose "Run as Administrator"
iii.  Into the prompt type the following command and hit enter.
"sfc/scannow"           (without quotes, note that there may be a space between sfc and the /)

Let the process to be complete (it may take several minutes or hours depending on your processors),after the completion type in "exit" (without quotes) and then hit enter.

Next to that ,open My Computer ,Right click on Local disk C (or the disk which contains the windows operating system), click on Properties.

Click "Tools Tab" and then click the button "Check the drive for errors".

In the following window check and make sure that both boxes are ticked and then click on "Start".
Just "Agree to the schedule the check at the next system restart and then restart your machine.

NOTE: This process may take several hours to complete before loading back into windows, so have patience.
